The company, BOI Shareholding Ltd., was incorporated on 14th September 1989 under the Companies Act 1956. Initially, the company was formed as a joint venture with Bank of India and Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd with 51% and 49% of stake holding, respectively. With the purchase of BSE’s stake in the company by Bank of India, in the year 2016, company has become a 100% wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of India.
