Welcome to BOI Shareholding Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of India.

The company, BOI Shareholding Ltd., (BOISL) was incorporated in the year 1989 on 14th September 1989 under the Companies Act 1956. Initially, the company was formed as a joint venture with Bank of India and Bombay Stock Exchange Ltd with 51% and 49% of stake holding, respectively. With the purchase of BSE’s stake in the company by Bank of India, in the year 2016, company has become a wholly owned subsidiary of Bank of India.

BOISL is registered with SEBI for undertaking the Depository Participant services for the NSDL and CDSL Depositories since the year 1999.Presently, the company is engaged in the Depository Participant (DP) activity for NSDL and CDSL DP and has acquired Bank of India’s DP activity with the company w.e.f. May 2023. From the year 2024, company has started the activity of Distribution of Financial Services.
